Friends of the Library
Who We Are
The Friends of the O’Fallon Public Library exists to provide support to, and enhance the resources and services of, our library. This in turn enriches our community.
Friends offers you:
- An opportunity to help the library financially through your dues and fundraising efforts
- A chance to utilize your leadership and creative abilities while serving the community
- The satisfaction of knowing your efforts help provide a superior collection of books periodicals, multi-media, and reference materials
Regular meeting are held on the 2nd Tuesday of January, April, August, and November at 5:00 pm in the small conference room at the library. Special meetings may be called as needed.
What We Do
Our purpose is maintain an association of persons interested in books and libraries; to focus public attention on library services, facilities, and needs; and to stimulate gifts of books, magazines, desirable collections, and endowments and bequests.
Our goals are to:
- Provide support for library programming
- Provide financial support to purchase needed materials and equipment
- Increase library membership
- Increase library publicity
